Alvirne Music Department Holiday Concert

The Alvirne High School Music Department will be celebrating the Holidays on Thursday, December 10, 2009 @ 7:00 p.m.  with their annual  Holiday Concert.  An evening of wonderful seasonal music is planned to help you get into the spirit for the upcoming holidays. Mr. Gerry Bastien and Mrs. Elizabeth Beaton never cease to amaze the community with their enthusiasm and contagious passion for music. Mr. B directing over 140 high school students in both the concert and jazz bands and Mrs. Beaton directing the Alvirne Singers, Women’s Choir and B Naturals.

You will not only be able to enjoy performances by our talented students but will have the opportunity to purchase some chances to win some phenomenal prizes donated by local businesses.  The Friends of Music will be selling chances to win a variety of prizes as well as conducting a 50/50 raffle at intermission. All proceeds will help towards scholarship awards for those students who are pursuing a post secondary education and have given of their time while at Alvirne, to the music department.
