School Daze Week of 10/15/12 (Instrumetal)

Hi Everyone,

     I would like to start off by thanking all the parents, friends and alum who attended the FOM Comedy/Secret Auction fundraiser at the VFW on October 13, 2012.  The comedians were funny, the food was excellent, and the silent auction items - well let me say that Mrs. B and I did very well with our bids. Thank you to all those parents and business who participated in this great event.

     This week will be busy as our 8th graders from the HMS band will be coming up on Wednesday night for the traditional "Step up" extravaganza! The 8th graders will be treated to working out with the Alvirne High School Marching Broncos and Colorguard. They will be learning marching FUNdamentals as well as some drill commands and hopefully be treated to watching some of our rehearsal. Giveaways will be part of the evening. (Anne, I know you enjoy this :-))
 On Friday October 19 the 8th graders will join the AHS Marching Band and Colorguard during the "Pep Time" and be part of the field show in a rendition of the 'Hey Song"!

Dear Parents of senior band and colorguard members . Can you believe it?!?  Where has the time gone?  Marching season is coming to a close and it’s time to honor our senior band and colorguard members.

In this blog you will find  a senior night information sheet. Please fill this out and have your senior band/colorguard student return the information to me by Monday  October 22 2012.  I am requesting that all parents of senior band/colorguard members meet on the track (where the band performs) by 6:10 p.m. as introductions of senior band members and parents will begin promptly at 6:20 p.m.  If there should be a time and or place change your senior will be notified and the information will be on this web site.  
 The form below will be mailed via USPS this week. If you would like to print it out, fill it out and have your child return it to my office before the deadline that would be great !
