FOM Grandstand Cleanup at NH Motor Speedway - September 18th

Get a head start on fundraising for next year’s trip with the Alvirne High School band and choral groups! Our second 2010 Speedway Cleanup Day is coming up soon! FOM will be part of the cleaning crew at NH Motor Speedway (NHMS) in Loudon, NH on Saturday September 18th. We have participated in this fund raiser before and we’ve been very successful, but this year’s success is up to you! In exchange for our help, NHIS will donate $7 per person to FOM. For every 20 people that we bring, we also collect an additional $250. Plus, there is a bonus of $5/person for bringing the number of people that we commit to bringing.

We have committed to bringing 60 people to the cleanup. Our committee chairperson has changed, so if you believe that you signed up already for September 18th, please contact Bob Guessferd at shemya87@msn.com to confirm with the number of attendees. If you haven’t, there is still time to sign up! The date is Saturday, September 18th. This is a great way to raise money for your student’s scholarship account!

This is also a trip scholarship opportunity and includes those that attend with the student! For example, if a student brings two others with her/him, they could earn over $100 in trip scholarship money! (Due to child labor laws, no one under 14 years old may participate, however, you can have others raise money for you!)

We’ll meet at Alvirne High School at September 18th at 2:30 p.m. and carpool to Concord NH. We’ll then board buses for the track and cleanup after Saturday’s race. We’ll get back on the buses after the cleanup and arrive back at Alvirne around 10:00 p.m.
